Note: Please keep in mind that having Kolide installed on your computer is mandatory, you can check our security policies here.
Follow these steps to get the Kolide app:
- On your Slack app, and go to the @Kolide bot profile (click "message" if prompted)
- Once in the Kolide profile or chat, at the top, go to the "Home" tab.

Click on "Enroll a device" and then "Enroll your device"

If you are using your own device, select "I own this device". Otherwise, select "My employer owns this device"

Select your Operative System.

When your installer is ready, click the download icon (the little cloud icon in the message).
- When the download finishes, click "Open containing folder" or go to your Downloads and double-click the installer
- Follow the on-screen steps (usually Next > Next > Finish).
That's it! Now we just need to wait a couple of minutes while the Kolide agent connects.
